Race Beneficiary

Proceeds from the Rescue Run benefit El Paso County Search and Rescue (EPCSAR) a 501(c)3.  EPCSAR is an all volunteer organization available 24x7 that provides search and rescue services primarily throughout El Paso County under the authority of the El Paso County Sheriff.  The team will respond to requests for assistance from other counties.   EPCSAR provides educational training and material about our organization at local events throughout the year.

 

EPCSAR has been active with search and rescue operations since 1970.  The Rescue Run inaugural run was 1978 and is one of the oldest running events in the Pikes Peak region.

 

EPCSAR never charges for their services.
